Our wet pet food production line handles various packaging formats including cans, trays, and pouches. The process begins with animal meat byproducts such as liver, lungs, and kidneys - ingredients not used for human consumption.
The complete production line includes grinders, deboning machines, gravy mixers, transfer equipment, packaging systems, and sterilization equipment. Raw materials (meat, vegetables, or fish) can be processed either fresh or frozen, with special care taken to prevent contamination when handling frozen products.
After deboning and grinding the meat byproducts, vegetables are mixed in to prevent breakdown during grinding. Essential dry ingredients including grains, minerals, and vitamins are added to meet specific nutritional requirements based on animal age and size. Special formulations for senior pets may include pea fiber, flaxseed, and glucosamine hydrochloride to support digestion and joint health.
The final product is transferred to packaging where airtight sealing is critical. Sterilization at 121.1°C ensures product safety and shelf stability. Retort sterilization treats both food and packaging after sealing. Modern pouch packaging offers consumer advantages including resealability and portion control convenience.
